Barry was born
and raised in Kansas and after
attending North American Baptist
Seminary came to Park Meadows Baptist
in 1982. Barry and his wife Joy live
in north Lethbridge and have two
adult children, Ryan who married
Heidi in July of 2004 and Jarod.
Barry’s passion is that Park
Meadows Baptist Church continues to
be a safe environment where people
can find help, hope, spiritual
transformation and become all God
meant them to be. Apart from his
work, Barry likes NFL football, to
read, and to spend time with
friends.

Del Bertsch - Pastor of Adult Ministries
(Seniors and Christian Education)
An Alberta boy, Del, returned to the province in September 2006 after
lengthy stops in Saskatchewan, Minnesota and Manitoba where he pastored for 38 years. He is happy to join the
Park Meadows team to minister to the Seniors.
Del's desire is to see the seniors ministry grow and flourish.
Del and his wife, Evelyn, have enjoyed several missions trips in the past years, including teaching at a Rostov Bible School in Russia.
Del and Evelyn have two grown children.

Jeff Wall - Pastor of Adult Ministries
Jeff and his wife Raylene grew up in New Mexico and both have bachelor degrees in Civil Engineering before answering a
call into full time ministry. This lead them to Regent College where Jeff completed his Master of Divinity and pastured a
church in Abbotsford BC upon completion of his degree. In January 2009 Jeff was happy to joined the pastoral team at Park Meadows Baptist Church.
Jeff’s passion is to see people grow in their relationship with Christ and with one another through activities, ministries, and small groups.
More than just relationships with one another is also our relationship with the community around us and seeing the church live out an example of the
Love of Christ in real practical ways. Jeff also has a desire to see each person equipped to use their gifting and abilities in service to Christ,
and to raise up leaders through teaching and mentoring.

James Schneider - Pastor of Children's Ministries
James grew up in Moncton New Brunswick. At 23 years old he has had 9 years of children’s ministry experience, attended
Bethany Bible College while studying Children, Youth and
Counselling. His passion to see children come to know Christ can
be seen in his unique way of teaching children Christian principles which will help them serve Him throughout their adolescence,
and adulthood. He believes that a relationship with Christ can begin in early childhood.
He is excited to see what the Lord has in
store for him as he is part of the team here at Park Meadows. Don’t hesitate to talk to him about getting involved in Children’s ministry.
There is a place for everyone who wants to see children come to know Jesus as Lord and
Savoir.

Ryan Thacker - Pastor of Student Ministries
Ryan is 29 years old and has been
married to his wife Natalie for 5
years. They have
two children, Abigail and Silas.
He graduated from Rocky Mountain College with a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry Leadership in 2004.
Before coming to Park Meadows, Ryan served in a church in Calgary as the Youth Pastor for 4 and a half years.
He has been serving at Park Meadows
since June 2009 and Ryan and his
family are feeling welcomed, loved, and valued since arriving.
Ryan's passion for teenagers and young adults is that they would know what it means to experience Jesus in their daily lives and obediently
follow him in whatever they do. He also understands that there are literally thousands of different messages telling teenagers what to do and what
to believe but very view ears prepared to listen to the messages that teenagers carry.
"God has given me big ears for a reason… so that I can use them to listen to the cares and concerns of the teens at Park Meadows and in Lethbridge."
